  1. I am an actor from Kansas where I appeared in over 100 plays, musicals and radio dramas. Strangely enough, I have never been in The Wizard of Oz. I thought about auditioning, but, at 72 years old, the 41 scheduled performances would probably kill me. It would be different if I lived across the street from the theatre, but I live in Laveen, AZ which is a 42 minute drive. Sadly, I'll probably go to my grave never having played the Cowardly Lion or the Wizard. Oh well, at least I got to see Margaret Hamilton and a couple of the remainig munchkins years ago and I've visited the Oz museum.
