B3 Theater, Inc. will be auditioning for its newest play 2A: an evening of plays written by the students of Ms. Sandoval’s 7th grade drama class by Nathan Dame.
Ilana Lydia and BJ Garrett, Artistic Director of Space 55, will be directing together.
The local Shakespearean-trained group, who were busy putting on Aphra Behn’s The Rover, are tasked with giving a performance of Jr. High-written pieces. Funny, inappropriate, searing, and sublime, the result is unlike anything you've seen. Mature content warning.
There are over 30 characters in this piece, which consists of 16 "student written" shows. The base character for each actor will be a classically trained actor. All genders, races, and (adult) ages are encouraged to audition, as the show will be cast blind to these features.
Show dates: Feb 17-25.
Rehearsals begin: Jan 9.
Auditions consist of: reading sides from the script. If you play guitar, please prepare a one minute selection from either a song or classical piece.
