"Nominated for five Tony Awards, including Best Musical, in the same season that Hamilton took all of the top prizes, the musical Bright Star did not win any Tonys, and did not have a lengthy Broadway run, but it has an intriguing score comprising beautiful ballads and toe-tapping country and bluegrass tunes, endearing characters, and an interesting plot.
