Fight me. One week after the Charlottesville riots, and two days before the 2017 solar eclipse, four young conservatives are reuniting at an after-party in the backyard of one of their homes. They have returned home to celebrate the promotion of their mentor, who has been promoted to president of the small Catholic College they all attended. But as their reunion spirals into spiritual chaos and clashing generational politics, it becomes less a celebration than a vicious fight to be understood. On a chilly night in the middle of America, Will Arbery’s haunting and ferociously buzzed about new play offers grace and disarming clarity, speaking to the heart of a country at war with itself.

Two borderline feral teenage brothers live alone in their filthy flat with a dog named Taliban, perpetually bathed in the blue glow of their screens. Playing video games, watching porn, waiting for the occasional visit from their mother, and surviving. But when a strange neighbor girl barges through the door, the boys’ little blue world begins to change color. Stray Cat proudly brings Anna Jordan’s savage, unrelenting drama to Arizona for the first time. A play about growing up, opening the windows, and maybe…just maybe…letting the light in.

As sharply funny as it is poignant, BLKS celebrates queerness and sisterhood by introducing us to Octavia, Imani, and June - three twenty somethings in New York City hunting for intimacy and purpose in a city that doesn’t seem to care. They drink a lot. They smoke a lot. They try to have sex. A WHOLE lot. When they need each other the most, the women rally to “resurrect their fly” in a day full of humorous and painful attempts to be heard through the noise that surrounds them. Poet Aziza Barnes makes their playwriting debut which has signified the arrival of a wholly thrilling and original new voice.

The first production of a brand new play from Stray Cat favorite Steve Yockey (Mercury, Wolves, Pluto, Octopus.) Sloane isn't sure why exactly her husband Timothy brought home a probably dangerous drifter with a knife, but she doesn’t like it. Of course, it's hard to focus when her wealthy kleptomaniac neighbor keeps dropping by to chat and steal anything not nailed down. And then…things get violent. Bleeding Hearts is a breakneck, pitch black farce about the disappearing middle class and how easily people forget to put themselves in each others' shoes. Helmed by Arizona Theatre Company’s new head honcho and Ron’s new boss, Sean Daniels and featuring Veronika Duerr - the stunning lead from last season’s Silent Sky at ATC. Stray Cat is thrilled to bring some of the big-league kitties down the alley to come play.
