Phoenix native Mason Reeves has been cast as Kristoff in the national tour of Disney's Frozen, that begins in Schenectady, New York on November 10th prior to officially opening at L.A.'s Hollywood Pantages Theatre on December 4, 2019.
Reeves appeared in dozens of musicals and plays in the Valley before heading to University of Michigan three years ago. This past summer he played Ren in Footloose at The Muny in St. Louis directed by Tony winner Christian Borle and is finishing up his Senior year at Michigan now.
Prior to his run in Footloose, Reeves played Sky in Mamma Mia! at Connecticut Repertory, Richie in A Chorus Line at Heritage Theatre Festival in Charlottesville and also played Jesus in The Last Days of Judas Iscariot and appeared in The Exonerated and Passing Strange, and several other shows, at the University of Michigan, Ann Arbor
In the Valley, Reeves was seen in numerous shows across town. Just a few of his credits include lead roles in The Wedding Singer at Spotlight Youth Theatre and Smokey Joe's Cafe at Desert Foothills Theater as well as appearing in West Side Story at Valley Youth Theatre, Shrek at Arizona Broadway Theatre, Dreamgirls at Desert Foothills and A Rasin in the Sun at Scottsdale Desert Stages Theatre.
