from our friends at the ariZoni Theatre Awards of Excellence:
We are delighted to announce this year's ariZoni Theatre Awards of Excellence in Stage Management award recipient: Amanda Keegan.
Amanda has been living in Arizona since 1995 and has been participating in the local theatre community since 2002. She has worked with Tempe Little Theatre, Chryo Arts Venue and Venue 104, but has made Stray Cat Theatre her home for the last 9 years. Just a few of her Production Stage Management credits include; Two Mile Hollow, Silence! The Musical, Mercury, Native Son, Green Day’s American Idiot, Heathers the Musical, Pluto, The Brothers Size, The Whale, The Flick, Wolves, and The Last Days of Judas Iscariot, all produced by Stray Cat Theatre. Over her time with Stray Cat, Amanda has helped do everything from flood a stage with water, cover it in blood, and even attempted to coax live chickens across the stage with bread and lettuce (spoiler: that didn’t work). By day you can find Amanda living and working in Scottsdale as the Learning and Development Project Manager for Zillow.
Congratulations, Amanda. Thank you for your contributions to the Arizona theatre community!
