AUDITION REQUIREMENTS
Actors will be asked to perform 16-32 bars of an up-beat song or ballad from a musical theater piece. Or for younger actors, they will be allowed to sing "Happy Birthday". Need some suggestions of songs? Visit our Audition Tips page.
They can either bring in an instrumental version on CD or Ipod, or they can bring in sheet music. Acapella will not be allowed. If Actors are using sheet music, we request it be contained in a 3-ring binder, noting the section they will be performing for their audition.
ADDITIONAL INFO
MAIN CHARACTERS will be required to attend rehearsals 4x week.
There will also be two ensemble groups.
-->Ensemble A: Will require more in-depth choreography and will be required to attend rehearsals 2-3x week. They will be featured on stage throughout the entire performance.
-->Ensemble B: Will have rehearsals on Saturdays only from 10:00am-1:00pm. They will be featured on stage during the large ensemble numbers only.
