A story of true love and acceptance between sisters, Frozen JR. expands upon the emotional relationship and journey between Princesses Anna and Elsa. When faced with danger, the two discover their hidden potential and the powerful bond of sisterhood. With a cast of beloved characters and loaded with magic, adventure, and plenty of humor, Frozen JR. is sure to thaw even the coldest heart!

ROLES AVAILABLE:
Anna (Female) 12-19 – Princess of Arendelle; a spirited troublemaker who is lonely and longing for connection, especially with her sister
Middle Anna /Ensemble (Female) 10-12 – a middle version of Anna. (Will also double in group scenes.)
Young Anna/Ensemble (Female) 8-10 – a younger still version of Anna. (Will also double in group scenes.)
Elsa (Female) 12-19 – Princess, and later, Queen of Arendelle, with magical powers at different ages; initially a doting sister to Anna, but becomes isolated due to fear of her magical powers
Middle Elsa/Ensemble (Female) 10-12 – a middle version of Elsa. (Will also double in group scenes.)
Young Elsa/Ensemble (Female) 8-10 – a younger still version of Anna. (Will also double in group scenes.)
King Agnarr/Ensemble (Male) 14-19 – King of Arendelle and protective father to Anna and Elsa. (Will also double in group scenes.)
Queen Iduna /Ensemble (Female) 14-19 – Queen of Arendelle and descendant of the Northern Nomads; loving mother to Anna and Elsa. (Will also double in group scenes.)
Pabbie (Male/Female) 10-19 – mystical and magical leader of the Hidden Folk; Kristoff’s adoptive parents. (Will also double in group scenes.)
Bulda (Male/Female) 10-19 – mystical and magical leader of the Hidden Folk; Kristoff’s adoptive parents. (Will also double in group scenes.)
Bishop (Male/Female) 12-19 – the Bishop of Arendelle; tasked with overseeing the succession of the monarchy. (Will also double in group scenes.)
Kristoff (Male) 12-19 – an ice harvester with a prickly exterior but a big heart.
Sven (Male/Female) 12-19 – Kristoff’s loyal reindeer best friend who can only be understood by Kristoff.
Hans (Male) 12-19 – Prince of the Southern Isles who craves a sense of belonging and power and proves with his oily charm that first impressions can be wrong.
Weselton (Male/Female) 12-19 – an impolite and judgmental Duke from a neighboring kingdom.
Olaf (Male/Female) 8-16 – a goofy and loving magical snowman who dreams of experiencing summer.
Oaken (Male/Female) 8-19 – an amiable wandering salesperson and advocate of hygge.
Ensemble (3 Male/3 Female) 8-19 – various roles including Townspeople, Snow Chorus, Hidden Folk, etc.
Auditioners should bring:
– Completed audition form with list of all possible conflicts
– Headshot and resume if available
– List of possible rehearsal conflicts
Auditioners should prepare:
– 16-32 bars of an upbeat song or ballad that best shows off their voice
– Bring sheet music in appropriate key or karaoke track in proper key, queued to desired start
– 1-2 minute monologue
– Dress to move for dance audition

Production fees: If cast, your child will be receiving over 110 hours of professional direction from trained, industry professionals. Please be advised that if your child is cast in this show, there is a production fee of $100.00 per participant which includes a show t-shirt and a flash drive of production photos. Parents are also required to volunteer for 10 hours (or opt-out fee $100). Scholarships and additional volunteer options available. NO ONE will be denied participation based on ability to pay.
