audition notice - 4 WEDDINGS AND AN ELVIS - Starlight Community Theatre - July 27
Starlight Community Theatre is holding open auditions for ages 16+ for the upcoming production of 4 Weddings and an Elvis, directed by Van Rockwell. This is the perfect part-time theatre opportunity, with limited rehearsals up until tech and and performances.

Additional auditions may be added for Monday night from 6-10 pm upon request.
There is nothing to prepare. Auditions will consist of cold reads from the script. Please bring your personal calendar, audition form, theater resume (optional), and head-shot (optional).
CHARACTER BREAKDOWN (7m / 4f):
Sandy - The wedding chapel owner (40-60)
THE THREE COUPLES:
[Bev & Stan: The Payback]
BEV - The angry bride. Naïve and romantic. (20-30)
STAN - The angry groom. (30-40) / Doubles as the PRODUCER in Act IV.
JOHN - The Elvis minister, can play Elvis at the drop of a hat. Sensitive and non-cynical. (30-60)
[Vanessa & Brice: The Comeback]
VANESSA - An older bride, a fading actress. (40-50)
BRYCE - An older groom, a fading actor. A one-time pretty boy. (40-50)
LOU - The minister, a bit off. (60-70)
[Fiona & Marvin: The Real Thing]
FIONA - The bride, a tough ex-con recently paroled. (30-40)
MARVIN - The groom; very, very gentle. (30-40)
FIST - Scary friend of Fiona, a tough, muscular, and intimidating felon. (30-50)
KEN - appears in the final wedding with a hilarious twist
MUST BE COMFORTABLE WITH ON-STAGE KISSING!
All males auditioning – please prepare your best Elvis impersonation and/or impression. IT DOES NOT HAVE TO BE PERFECT OR SPOT-ON. In fact, the more off it is, the better.
Everyone except Sandy will have flexible rehearsals/scheduling.
