"Mary Poppins, the beloved literary character created by P. L. Travers and immortalized in the classic 1964 Walt Disney film of the same name, often refers to herself as "practically perfect." The same statement could be made about Arizona Broadway Theatre's production of the 2004 stage adaptation, which has a fantastic cast and with just a few small exceptions makes for a practically perfect family friendly stage musical....the main cast for this production is superb, led by Renée Kathleen Koher's excellent portrayal of Mary and Chris McNiff's warm and direct portrayal of Mary's chimney sweep friend Bert.... "...For its 100th Mainstage theatre production in Peoria, like the character herself, Mary Poppins is a practically perfect choice for Arizona Broadway Theatre to present...Mary Poppins offers song, dance, and a special kind of theatrical magic that can thrill an adult as much as a child
