Camp Rising Star Returns for Another Season of Summer Fun
Starlight Community Theater’s Camp Rising Star is back for the 2018 Summer Season and we are inviting young actors across the Valley to join us on center stage!
To kick-off the Summer, our June 4-16 session will be The Wizard of OZ – Young Performers’ Edition. This classic tale, in which a Kansas farm girl travels over the rainbow to discover the magical power of home and the joy of friendship, has been entertaining audiences for generations!
This session will go from June 4 to 16, Monday through Fridays from 8 a.m. to 12 p.m. and is designed for campers who are between the ages of 7-17. Auditions for named lead roles will take place on June 4 from 1 p.m. to 2 p.m., and two of the performing shows will take place on Saturday, June 16 at 2 p.m. and 5 p.m.
For those looking to register for 2018 Camp Rising Star, there will be an early prepaid registration special for anyone whose prepaid registration is received on or before April 30. This early prepaid registration price will be $275 per student. If you are already a Starlight Community Theater Member, early prepaid registration prices will start at $255.
After April 30, prices will increase to $295 per student and $275 for Starlight Community Theater Members.
Membership in Starlight Community Theater is $20 annually per family household per theater season, July 1st through June 30th of the following calendar year.
