Play Synopsis: Pirates, star stuff, lost boys, and jungle savages...The Tony-winning play,
based on the best-selling novels, upends the century-old story of how a miserable orphan boy
becomes the legendary Peter Pan. Peter and the Starcatcher playfully explores the depths of
greed and despair... and the bonds of friendship, duty and love.
Roles available: Black Stache – Pirate
Molly Aster—young girl
Boy/Peter – Orphan;
Grempkin – Schoolmaster
Mrs. Bumbrake – Molly’s Nanny
Bill Slank – vicious orphaned captain of Neverland
Smee – Black Stache’s first mate
Prentiss – orphan
Alf – Seafarer; Lord
Leonard Aster—Molly’s father
Captain Robert Falcon Scott—Lord Aster’s school friend
Ted—orphan
Ensemble—Sailors, Seamen, Seafarer’s, Orphans, Pirates, Mermaids, Mollusks,
Narrators.
There will be gender switching, so there will be an even number of roles for males and females.
Additional Info: All performers cast in the production are required to register for the THP 201AA Theatre Production Class (1 credit).
