The Women of Lockerbie

November 3 - 12, 2017

A mother from New Jersey roams the hills of Lockerbie Scotland, looking for her son's remains that were lost in the crash of Pan Am 103. She meets the women of Lockerbie, who are fighting the U.S. government to obtain the clothing of the victims found in the plane's wreckage. The women, determined to convert an act of hatred into an act of love, want to wash the clothes of the dead and return them to the victim's families. THE WOMEN OF LOCKERBIE is loosely inspired by a true story, although the characters and situations in the play are purely fictional. CPA Show Dates: November 3, 4, 10, 11 at 7:30pm and 5 & 12 at 2:00pm.

Advanced Directing Student Shows
December 8 - 10, 2017

Each year in our Studio Theatre we have opportunities for our students to direct One Act plays or Full length plays if they are directing a second time.  There is always a wonderful variety and even some original works written by the directors.  Titles and their specific performance dates will be announced sometime in October. Show dates: December 8, 9 at 7:30pm and 10 at 2:00pm.

Cave Boys

Set in Montignac, France, with World War II looming in the background, Cave Boys centers around teenage Jacques Marsal and his group of friends.  Even though his father is away fighting in the war, Jacques busies himself with soccer, school, and helping his mother out with the diner.  Things are going okay until Franck, a refugee from Alsace-Lorraine, enrolls in the school.  Can Jacques trust Franck, or is Franck a Nazi spy?  While investigating Franck, Jacques and his friends discover a series of pre-historic cave paintings.  But can the boys convince any of the adults that these paintings exist?  Perfect for families and middle school aged students.  Based on a true story. World Premiere Studio Show Dates:  February 1, 2, 3 at 7:30pm and February 4 at 2:00pm. And two matinee performances for Middle Schools (and public) February 1, 2 at 11am.


Much Ado About Nothing

April 13 - April 22, 2018

Young lovers Hero and Claudio are to be married in a week. To pass the time, they conspire with Don Pedro to set a "lover's trap" for Benedick, an arrogant confirmed bachelor, and Beatrice. Meanwhile, the evil Don Jon conspires to break up the wedding by accusing Hero of infidelity. In the end, though, it all turns out to be "much ado about nothing. CPA  Show Dates: April 13, 14, 20, 21 at 7:30pm and 15 & 22 at 2:00pm.

Peter and the Star Catcher

Pirates, star stuff, lost boys, and jungle savages…The Tony-winning play, based on the best-selling novels, upends the century-old story of how a miserable orphan boy becomes the legendary Peter Pan.  CPA  Show Dates: June 22, 23, 29, 30 at 7:30pm and 24, July 1 at 2:00pm.
