Little dancers learn the basics of tap and ballet. Closed-toe shoes required. Dance shoes helpful, but not required. Tutus optional

Thursday
September 1 - November 10
(10 weeks - No class October 13th)

Musical Theater Dance
4:00 - 5:00pm Ages 7 - 9
5:00 - 6:00pm Ages 10+
Beginning/intermediate level students learn skills necessary for mastering technique in preparation for both auditions and performance in musical theater. Tips and tricks for picking up choreo quicker and how to remember it. The workshop will also focus on different styles of dance and movement as well as teaching how to remain in character during dance numbers and express one-self through freestyle/improv. Three dance numbers from popular shows will be selected and taught with a final performance at the end of the shop. Wear dance/athletic gear, dance shoes are helpful, and bring water!

Friday
September 2 - October 28
(8 weeks - No class October 14th)
Instructor: Youth Artistic Director Ross Collins
Intermediate/Advance Acting
4:00pm - 5:30pm Ages 12-19
Learn how to develop a character from the bottom up, work on committing to being in the scene, working with stage movement as a decision not an obligation and more! *Participation in this workshop does not guarantee casting in regular season productions - but it certainly can't hurt!
