Can't stop tweeting about the show you saw last weekend? Childsplay Theatre has announced the perfect opportunity for you! The theatre company is inviting community members to apply as Kid Reporters and Parent Bloggers for their 40th anniversary season. The job has quite a few perks, including behind-the-scenes sneak peeks, VIP treatment and free tickets to Childsplay performances.
A Childsplay Kid Reporter will attend a Childsplay performance, where they will get an exclusive backstage tour and interview with cast members. Kid Reporters will then write an article that will be published on Childsplay's Kid Reporter Blog, and create a short video review of their experience to be shared with the world! If your child is interested in being a Kid Reporter and is between the ages of 7-14, Childsplay is accepting video applications until August 5th. For more information and application details, please visit www.childsplayaz.org/KidReporter.
Childsplay Parents Bloggers and their families are invited to attend performances free of charge and are asked to write a review of the play. These articles give other parents insight into a production and what a family's experience at the theatre is like. Bloggers and their families attend Childsplay's VIP Opening Performances, where they will get to mingle, meet, and speak with designers, directors and others involved in the production.
