Last Line Theatre Collaborative is back with another exciting new project. We are once again looking for passionate performers interested in taking part in the whole process of creating a show. You will be involved in writing, directing, producing, marketing and performing a brand new full length show.
The show will be created by each troupe member creating their own independent character. Then, these characters will be used as the basis of a series of short, 10-min scenes written and directed by other troupe members. All of these will fit together into one interconnected, full-length show.
This is an opportunity to experience theatre from the ground up, and challenge yourself creatively. As before, the process will be recorded via Podcast and periscope to incorporate audience feedback, and make the whole process truly collaborative.
Auditions will be held between 7:30 Pm and 10:00 PM on Wednesday, Aug. 10. The venue is the Acting Studio of the Mesa Arts Center, at
1 E Main St.
Mesa, AZ 85201
The acting studio is on the 2nd floor of the Studio South building, above the welding studio and across from the Nesbitt-Elliot playhouse (yellow theatre).
Actors should prepare a self-written, 2-minute monologue as a character they created. Please use your own work.
