AUDITION OVERVIEW
Hale Centre Theatre—Arizona will be holding auditions A Christmas Carol, playing November 27th to December 26th, 2026. This show will be directed by David Dietlein, music directed by Lincoln Wright, and choreographed by Cambrian James. Auditions will be video only and close at 11:59 PM on Saturday, July 18th. Please read instructions for submitting videos.
APPLICANT INSTRUCTIONS
Video auditions are mandatory for all new performers and any returning actors not reprising a previous role. Your submission must feature both an acting segment (using the specific sides found in the Video Details section) a singing selection of 16 bars of a traditional carol, and a dance segment following the provided choreography link. Complete audition packages should include:
An introductory slate.
A vocal selection.
The designated line readings and dance combination which can be found on this document.

RETURNING CAST MEMBERS FROM THE 2025 PRODUCTION OF ‘A CHRISTMAS CAROL’
Adults wishing to be considered for the same role they performed in 2025 may apply on Casting Manager, select their previous role, choose the "Interest List" audition type, and complete the audition questionnaire. No audition video is required, but callbacks are still mandatory. Please note that this option only applies to your previous role; a video audition is required to be considered for any additional or different roles. All returning children must submit a video audition, even if they wish to be considered for the same role they performed in 2025. Any returning cast member seeking a different role must also submit a video audition following the instructions above.
CALLBACKS
Callbacks are by invitation only. Cratchit Family and Kids callbacks are on the evening of Friday, July 31st. Callbacks for all other adult roles are on the morning of Saturday, August 1st.
THIS SHOW WILL BE DOUBLE-CAST
Due to the number of performances within a short period of time, there will be two separate casts for this show.
