LET'S ROCK: FROM TUPAC TO SHAKESPEARE - New Carpa Theatre Company - June 27-28, 2026

On Saturday and Sunday, June 27-28, New Carpa presents "Let's Rock: From Tupac to Shakespeare."

Visionary Phoenix cultural arts leader Rod Ambrose and director James E. Garcia invite you to experience the transformative melding of spoken word and live theater as part of Let’s Rock: From Shakespeare to Tupac. This vibrant “word music” showcase creates a dramatic tapestry of voices and movement, bridging the classical traditions of Shakespeare and the raw, urban poetry of Tupac Shakur with the work of some of the greatest Black poets of the ages.

Let’s Rock…is more than a performance; it’s a tribute to language as a force for change!

Tickets are $29 and on sale at asukerr.com or by calling the box office at 480-596-2660.
