Successful Long Island businessman Joe Benjamin is a modern-day 'Job' with a demanding wife, ungrateful children and wise-cracking household employees. He credits all he has to his love for God. Then he is visited by Sidney Lipton, a.k.a. A Messenger from God with a mission: test Joe's faith and report back to "the Boss". He informs Joe that God and Satan have made a wager that no amount of suffering would ever lead Joe Benjamin to renounce his faith. The jokes and Tests of Faith fly fast and furious as Neil Simon spins a contemporary morality tale like no other in this hilarious comedy. A light-hearted and yet very poignant modern story of a man who has everything and loses it all before finding what is truly important.

Callbacks by Invitation, Monday, March 10th from 6 pm to 9 pm
What to Prepare:
Cold reads from sides provided. Sides available for download using Signup Genius link and at the theatre at time of audition. Select the side for each character that you wish to be considered for but please select only one audition slot. Bring current headshot, resume and rehearsal conflicts (do not email headshot/resume in advance, please).

Rehearsals:
Rehearsals will begin Monday, June 3, 2024.
Generally, rehearsals are held on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday evenings from 6:30pm to 9:30pm and on Saturday mornings (or Sunday afternoons) depending on cast availability. Expect longer rehearsals for Tech Week.
There will be no rehearsal for weekend of July 4, 2024 in observance of the holiday.
Performance Dates:
July 18th through August 24th (24 performances total)
All shows are 7 pm on Thursday, Friday, and Saturday evenings and 2 pm Saturday matinees. There is a possibility of adding 7 pm shows on Wednesday evenings during the run if there is a demand. Call time is 1 hour prior to show time. A stipend will be paid. Please do not audition if you are not available for all performances. There will be no understudies; if you are not available for all performances, we cannot consider you for casting in this production.
