Musical Theatre of Anthem announces auditions for A Year With Frog and Toad KIDS for ages 6-13, all youth are cast.
The treasured characters from the children’s books and the beautiful Broadway musical hop from page to stage in this story of friendship and adventure. Based on Arnold Lobel's well-loved books, A Year with Frog and Toad KIDS tells the story of a friendship that endures throughout the seasons. Waking from hibernation, Frog and Toad plant gardens, swim, rake leaves, go sledding and learn life lessons along the way. Throughout the year, two best friends celebrate and rejoice in the differences that make them unique and special.
AUDITIONS: Saturday, August 27, 2022:
• 9:00 a.m. – Auditions for workshop participants (A-L)
• 9:45 a.m. – Auditions for workshop participants (M-Z)
• 10:30 a.m. – General Auditions
• Dance Call: Sunday, August 28 @ 9:00 a.m.
• Callbacks: Sunday, August 28 @ 10:00 a.m.

COST: The tuition and costume fee for this production is $325 for youth ages 6-13, 10% sibling discount. Sibling discount on 2nd registration will be refunded via PayPal within 24 hours of payment received. Scholarships available.
DETAILS: Please bring a musical theatre song (or any song they are comfortable with), 16-32 bars or one minute in length. Bring an accompaniment with CD or mobile device to sing with. You may also sing acapella if needed. Have your registration materials completed prior to coming to the audition. AUDITION PREP WORKSHOPS:
Audition Preparation Workshops will be held at MTA on Thursday, August 25, from 4:30p.m.-6:00p.m. and Friday, August 26 from 4:30p.m.-6:00p.m. During these 90-minute session, participants will be instructed on cold reads, acting technique, characterization and more. Participants of the workshops will get to audition prior to the general audition time. Cost is just $35, and space is limited. There is a 10% sibling discount.
