AUDITIONS: Clue: The Musical

In CLUE: The Musical, the internationally popular board game comes to life! CLUE: The Musical brings the world’s best-known suspects to the stage with clever audience interaction to help solve the mystery of “Who killed Mr. Boddy, in what room, and with what weapon?” Comedic antics, witty lyrics, and a beguiling score carry the investigation from room to room, with surprise twists to delight and involve the audience.
AUDITION REQUIREMENTS: Please prepare a one-minute to ninety second song that highlights the strength of your voice, plus a one to two minute acting monologue. Your audition should showcase character versatility, facial expression, comedic skills, physicality, and vocal range. An accompanist will be provided.
Call Backs will include reading and singing from the script, and a short dance routine. Please wear comfortable shoes for movement.

Available Roles:
MR. BODDY – Charismatic, handsome, playful host; actor must be able to play late 20s to 30s; soaring baritone/tenor
MRS. PEACOCK – Acerbic, manipulative, sexy socialite; actress must be able to play a woman in her 40s; mezzo with belt
PROFESSOR PLUM – Astute intellectual with a wry sense of humor; age range 30s-40s; baritone or mezzo
MISS SCARLET – Shrewd, very attractive, female vixen; 20s; wide vocal range with belt
COLONEL MUSTARD – Pompous, randy military man; age range 40s-50s; baritone
MRS. WHITE – Fun-loving cockney maid, portrayed by either a male or female; 50’s, wide vocal range
MR. GREEN – Slick, handsome wheeler-dealer; 20s; baritone/tenor
DETECTIVE – Hard-nosed, snappy, humorous (male or female); 30s; interesting singing voice
CAST/CREW MUST REGISTER FOR MUP/THP 270 MUP/THP 270 (Musical Theatre Workshop 33024/33025) runs from 9/6/2022 to 11/19/2022.
PERFORMANCE DATES in the SCC PAC: November 10, 12, 17, 18 at 7:30 pm and November 19 matinee at 2 pm (November 18 11am High School Student Matinee performance)
