"The musical Million Dollar Quartet documents the actual, and only, night when Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Carl Perkins, and Jerry Lee Lewis met for a jam session at the record company in Memphis where they all got their start. It's a popular musical filled with hit songs these men made famous. It's also a show that requires performers who are able to sing the songs associated with these iconic four men and skillfully play musical instruments as well. Jason Cohen has played the role of Jerry Lee Lewis in the musical in more than 80 cities and he recently co-created a jam session musical revue of his own, entitled Great Balls of Fire, which focuses on the life of Lewis and features songs from Million Dollar Quartet and others made famous by the well-known men in that show, other Sun Records recording stars, and a few other artists of the period. It's a fantastic night of songs played by a talented quintet of musicians. "   -Gil Benbrook, Talkin' Broadway (click here to read the complete review)
