Phoenix College will be holding auditions for our virtual production of this adaptation of Edgar Lee Masters’ Spoon River Anthology.
Synopsis
Spoon River revolves around some of the former citizens of a mythical Midwestern town. These folks speak from the grave, recounting the day-to-day hopes, dreams, and disappointments of their lives.
Casting 11 performers of any race/ethnicity, age, or gender/gender identity
Auditions will be held online using a virtual platform (see dates below). Rehearsals will be held online and in person from mid-February - April. In April, we will be filming at Phoenix College in the John Paul Theatre. Health and safety precautions will be followed throughout all aspects of the production.
Auditions will be scheduled virtually in 15-minute increments on Thursday, February 18 from 4:00 pm – 9:30 pm and Friday, February 19 from 4:00 pm - 9:30 pm (with the last scheduled appointment at 9:15 pm on both days). Callbacks will be held on Saturday, February 20 from 10:00 am – 2:00 pm.
