"Two years ago, six-time Tony winner Audra McDonald kicked off the "Broadway @ Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts" series with a concert that showcased her incredible vocal talents. Last week she was back again in Scottsdale for another evening in this concert series that features a gifted Broadway performer with Seth Rudetsky as host and accompanist. McDonald's recent appearance featured amazing vocals and personal stories that were both humorous and heartfelt. These concerts are different than your typical cabaret show in that they include a performer singing an evening of songs as well as talking about their theatrical and personal experiences in informative interview segments.
