The Max McQueen Distinguished Service Award
The AriZoni Theatre Awards of Excellence is happy to announce Constance W. McMillin as this year's recipient of the Max McQueen Distinguished Service Award.
A true patron of the arts, Constance has made a significant impact to the efforts of arts organizations in the Valley. She was instrumental in raising funds to have TheaterWorks move into the Peoria Center for the Performing Arts where the black box theater is named after her.
Thank you, Constance for your dedicated and tireless support of the arts.
The Kyle Lawson Distinguished Service Award
The Zoni Board of Directors is pleased to announce Cheryl Bender, Melissa Lane and Josh Morris of Costume Connection as this year's recipient of the 2017/18 Kyle Lawson Distinguished Service Award.
Costume Connection was founded by Cheryl Bender as a way to provide support to the local theatre community with a mission to “connect great costumes and wonderful costumers.” The organization houses and rents costume collections owned by nonprofit groups and customers to nonprofit theaters, schools and churches in Arizona.
The Excellence in Stage Management Award
Courtney Stevens of TheaterWorks has been selected as the recipient of the 2017/18 Excellence in Stage Management Award.
The ariZoni Theater Award of Excellence in Stage Management honors a stage, company or production manager within our community who has gone above and beyond their job duties, throughout the course of their body of work.
All of these awards will be presented at the adult ceremony on September 17.
