Chita Rivera on ‘Hamilton,’ authentic casting, and Tommy Tune

Kerry Lengel of the Arizona Republic recently spoke to Chita Rivera about her performance tonight with Tommy Tune at the Arizona MusicFest

"With more than a century treading the boards between them, it’s hard to believe that Chita Rivera and Tommy Tune never worked together before their current concert tour, cheekily titled “Chita & Tune: Just in Time".  Both are Broadway giants — although only one literally so.  “Here’s this 7-foot-tall man dancing with this 5-foot-4 woman who thinks she’s 7 feet tall, trying desperately to stretch myself,” Rivera says, with un-diva-like self-deprecation, in a recent phone interview...."
