from our friends at Arizona Theatre Company:
There will be meeting this Saturday, January 6th, at the Arizona Theatre Company Phoenix office (455 N. 3rd St. Suite 350) from 10am-12pm to discuss the ATCteen program here in Phoenix.
Anyone interested in joining our teen program is welcome to attend. Here are some details about the program:
--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
ATCteen is a team of high school students from around the Phoenix & Tucson areas (one group or team in each city) that work on theatre/art projects outside of school with their peers. It provides you with an outlet to work on that idea you've been dreaming up with the support of a professional theatre company!
ATCteen is a great resume builder for college, future internships/apprenticeships and ultimately your career (regardless if that career is in the arts or not). Because you come up with the projects, you will also organize and lead them. As an art leader, you will learn management skills, marketing skills, how to be an advocate for the arts and so much more!
ATCteen also comes with a lot of perks! The biggest one being FREE tickets to our professional shows. Here is the entire list of perks if you join.
ATCteen Member PERKS:
-Attend ATC main stage professional shows for FREE
-Get access to special workshops, classes, and exclusive events for ATCteens
-Participate in and plan your own theater projects! Dream big!
And so much more! Depending on YOUR interests, YOUR passions and YOUR ideas.
PLUS
If you complete a certain number of projects you will be eligible for:
-A FANTASTIC letter of recommendation from ATC for college or employers
-Discounted or a full scholarship to ATC’s Summer Onstage/Summer Backstage program in Tucson!
If you are a high school student and you are interested in joining, attend this Saturday's Phoenix ATCteen Retreat on January 6th!
Location: AZ Center 455 N. 3rd St. Suite 350, Phoenix, AZ
Time: 10 AM - 12 PM
