BLOOM & VIEWS - Last Line Theatre Collaborative - May 18 - 22

Last Line Theatre Collaborative is ready for their debut performance!

Starting from nothing, in a short, intensive period of time, the team are creating two one-act shows written, directed, and acted by our members. This project is all about showing the arts community that if you want to be in theatre, you can make it happen! If you love local new works and supporting a few scrappy kids trying to do what they love, come see what we've been workin on:

Bloom
An eager young woman takes her painfully bad romance story to a group of writers for notes. Each writer has their own idea of what would fix things, and as they each try to impose their agendas, the simple story breaks down into chaos.

Views
Three police officers get involved with a murder case that has only one suspect who has an extensive criminal record.  The police officers have to decide if they think they have the right man. Each cop has wildly different views on the suspect's guilt which leads to morals being tested and the question of who is right and who is wrong.

Performances will be May 18-21 at 7:30 PM, and May 21-22 at 2:00 PM in the Mesa Arts Center's Acting Studio, 1 E Main St Mesa, AZ 85201

The Acting Studio is located at the top of the lighter stairwell, across from the Nesbitt-Elliot Playhouse.

Tickets are $8, available at the door or the box office. Making at least an $8 donation on Last Line's Gofundme will also earn you a free ticket at a performance of your choosing.

As part of the project, we have been recording podcasts of our meetings to show how we got to where we are. Check us out for free on iTunes to see how this project came to be, and what got left behind:
