Music and Lyrics by Richard Adler & Jerry Ross
Book by George Abbott & Richard Bissell

The Pajama Game, based on the 1953 novel "7½ Cents by" Richard Bissell, is one of Broadway's most beloved musicals, winning the Tony Award for Best Musical and Best Choreography by Bob Fosse. With music and lyrics by the Broadway team of  Richard Adler and Jerry Ross, The Pajama Game story deals with labor troubles in a pajama factory, where workers' demands for a seven-and-a-half cent raise are going unheeded. In the midst of this ordeal, love blossoms between Babe, the grievance committee head, and Sid, the new factory superintendent. The Pajama Game  -  written by the same creative team as Damn Yankees - features some popular hits of the late 1950’s including “Hey There”, “Hernando’s Hideaway” and “Steam Heat”.
