It's time to carry the banner with Disney's Newsies! Set in turn-of-the-century New York City, Newsies is the rousing tale of Jack Kelly, a charismatic newsboy and leader of a band of teenaged 'newsies'. When titans of publishing raise distribution prices at the newsboy's expense, Jack rallies newsies from across the city to strike against the unfair conditions and fight for what is right.
Based on the 1992 motion picture and inspired by a true story, Newsies features a Tony award winning score by Alen Menken including cult classic songs such as "Carrying the Banner", "Sieze the Day", and "Sante Fe".
Newsies is packed with exciting choreography, powerful vocals and with a set that is reminiscent of the iconic Broadway production, this production will most definitly be one for the books!

Production and shows will be held at Cactus Shadows Fine Arts Center located at 33606 North 60th Street, Scottsdale, AZ 85266
Auditions: Friday, January 9th, 2026
Vocal Callbacks will be the same night as your audition.
Dance and Acting callbacks: Saturday, January 10th, 2026
