"Disney's animated film Frozen became a worldwide phenomenon, launching a movie sequel, merchandise, attractions at the Disney theme parks, and a stage adaptation that opened on Broadway in 2018. The 2013 movie made history as the first film directed by a woman to gross $1 billion. The Phoenix Theatre Company's production of the stage musical not only captures the heart and spectacle of the beloved story but also makes history of its own as the first show to open in their stunning state-of-the-art Dr. Stacie J. and Richard J. Stephenson Theatre. Seeing the beloved film brought to life on stage with gorgeous costumes and theatrical stage effects makes for a magical theatrical experience. While there were a few small hiccups on opening night, the combination of dazzling stagecraft, powerful performances, and a pristine venue creates an enchanting, crowd-pleasing production."   - Gil Benbrook, TalkinBroadway.com (click here to read the complete review)

"an elaborately lavish and utterly captivating staging of “Disney’s Frozen The Broadway Musical,” a charmer show based on Hans Christian Andersen’s “The Snow Queen” and Disney’s successful animated film.  It will prove a magical experience for families with little ones being introduced to live theater for the first time."    -Chris Curcio, Curtain Up Phoenix (click here to read the complete review)

"What this Phoenix production achieves best is spectacle on its striking new stage; intricate sets, dazzling projections, and special effects that genuinely feel like stage wizardry. Elsa’s ice bridge and ice castle shimmer as if conjured out of the ether. The show’s other undeniable strength is its cast. Caelan Creaser as Elsa delivers a vocal performance that pierces through the orchestration like a shard of ice, controlled and crystalline until she lets it fly. As Anna, an ebullient Chelsea Cree Groan brings warmth, humor, and resilience, complementing Creaser’s restraint with buoyant energy."   - David Appleford, Broadway World (click here to read the complete review)
