Rehearsals Begin: Monday, February 20 (rehearsals will be in the evenings)
Production Dates: March 23-March 25, 2015 (Four performances with a possible 5th performance on March 26 by audience demand)

PLAY SYNOPSIS

Writes
A play for 6 men and 2 women

Months after her brother, Robbie, is killed by police, Mana begins a new writing project: creating a brand-new, black, American superhero. But then she collides with Zach, a white barista/aspiring writer who has decided he's going to write about "The Black Experience" (whatever that means). “Writes” is a fast, frank, hard-hitting new play about race, bias, and who the f*** has the right to tell whose story.
