audition notice - ROCK OF AGES, SHREK & PAGEANT - Arizona Broadway Theatre - March 14 & March 15

 Arizona Broadway Theatre will be holding auditions for singers/actors/dancers for its upcoming productions of Rock of Ages (5/27 – 6/19), Shrek (7/15 – 8/14) and Pageant(8/26 – 9/18). Audition dates and times are as follows:

Monday, March 14, 2016 from 6:00 pm to 8:00 pm:  Adults (ages 16 and up) for all three productions.

Tuesday, March 15, 2016 from 4:00 pm to 6:00 pm:  Young Performers (ages 9 to 15) for SHREK only. All young performers in Shrek MUST be able to TAP DANCE!

If you are interested in auditioning, please email your headshot and resume to auditions@azbroadway.org to  request an audition appointment.

You will be contacted by Company Management if you are selected for an audition appointment and given additional instructions at that time.  Adults will need to prepare two contrasting vocal selections (16 bars each).  Please bring your music (in the correct key and clearly marked) for the accompanist, as well as a copy of your headshot and resume.

An invited dance call will immediately follow the adult vocal auditions at 8:00 pm. Please bring jazz and tap shoes and an appropriate change of clothing.

Young Performers will not need to prepare anything in advance. They will be taught a section of music from the show as well as a tap dance combination. Please bring tap shoes if you have them.
