Synopsis: In this beloved musical, pompous phonetics professor Henry Higgins is so sure of his abilities that he takes it upon himself to transform a Cockney working-class girl into someone who can pass for a cultured member of high society. His subject turns out to be the lovely Eliza Doolittle, who agrees to speech lessons to improve her job prospects. Higgins and Eliza clash, then form an unlikely bond -- one that is threatened by an aristocratic suitor.

Auditions are closed – no one is permitted to watch.
You need to arrive 20 minutes early - you will have your picture taken and your paperwork processed. These pictures will be used in the program if you are cast. Resumes will be accepted, but are not required.
This is a cold audition. You will be taught the song and dance, and given something to read at the audition. Please wear comfortable clothing that you can move in and good shoes!

The Audition Packet is on the AYT website (www.actorsyouththeatre.org). Please review the rehearsal schedule in the packet carefully and note any conflicts on the audition form. There will be NO additions to the conflict schedule once the casting is done. Conflicts are taken into consideration while casting.
