Desert Foothills Theater's popular holiday cabaret (SOLD OUT the past three years) features the return of Soul of Broadway for their holiday show. Along with traditional Christmas tunes, folks from the Soul of Broadway will share some gospel, Mowtown and spiritual versions of some of the holiday's best-known music.
The group, under the leadership of Mitchell Vantrease (who last appeared on DFT's stage as Marcellus in The Music Man) and music direction of Gregg Temple features the return to DFT of several of our Dreamgirls stars (Chanel Bragg, Jacqueline Castillo and Krystal Pope), Tyra Young (Motormouth in our production of Hairspray last season and also in Dreamgirls) as well as Dreamgirls director, Damon J. Bolling AND a new member, Nathaniel Tenenbaum, fresh off his run in Toxic Avenger at Phoenix Theatre!
