When their farm burns down, a family of four bumbling but well-meaning pioneers set off down the trail to Oregon. Sounds fun, right? But, to make it to Oregon, they'll have to face many challenges along the way; con-artists, rattlesnakes, and the infamous frontier ruffian known only as "the Bandit King". Will they make it to their new home in one piece, or will they fall victim to the classic killer of pioneers—dysentery?
