Winnie the Pooh KIDS
(Ages 6-11)
Welcome to the Hundred Acre Wood, where Winnie the Pooh is once again in search of honey. Along the way, he meets his pals, Tigger, Piglet, Rabbit and Owl, but soon discovers that Christopher Robin has been captured by the mysterious Backson! As they prepare for a rescue operation, the animals learn about teamwork, friendship and, of course... sharing snacks.
During rehearsals students will actively engage in an interactive theatre education as well as learn the production process from start to finish. In the class students will explore characterization, basic theatre terms, improv exercises. Students will also be trained how to make proper choices on stage, movement, and vocal instruction.
There will be a brief MANDATORY parent meeting before the first class on January 17th at 4:00PM.
Students do not need to prepare anything in advance for auditions. We will be reading and singing from the show on the first day of class and casting will be sent out by email shortly after.
Students must be proficient in reading to participate.
