Fountain Hills Theater celebrates its return to indoor performances this season, after surviving over a year outside! The Theater will hold its annual fundraising event, Broadway in the Hills, on March 6th, 2022 at the DC Bar & Grill located at beautiful Desert Canyon Golf Club in Fountain Hills. This year’s “Survivor Edition” celebrates keeping our doors open by putting on 19 outdoor shows and concerts on a mobile stage - braving heat, cold and wind! Our loyal patrons were by our side, huddled under space heaters, braving scorching temperatures and occasionally getting rained on!
FHT invites everyone to continue their support by attending Broadway in the Hills: Survivor Edition. The evening will feature a three-course meal, with a choice of chicken piccata, chicken marsala or prime rib and a cash bar will be available. Guests will be entertained by some of their favorite FHT performers! A silent auction will also be held, offering the opportunity to bid on a variety of unique items, experience packages and more. Proceeds benefit Fountain Hills Theater’s 15 stage productions presented each season on the Mainstage, Mainstage Too and Youth Theater stages, as well as their year-round performing arts educational programs.
Over its thirty-six-year history, FHT has become one of the highest award-winning non-profit theaters in Arizona, winning hundreds of ariZoni and NYA Awards. Additionally, FHT is one of the only Valley theaters to have both of its Artistic Directors and its Executive Producer win Lifetime Achievement Awards.
Hundreds of volunteers, actors, musicians, scenic designers, music directors, artistic directors, choreographers and techies help make it all happen on our stages. Without them and our patrons, none of this would be possible!
Broadway in the Hills: Survivor Edition event begins at 6PM on Sunday, March 6th. The DC Bar and Grill is located at 10440 N Indian Wells Dr, Fountain Hills AZ 85268. Tickets are $125 and include a three-course dinner and live entertainment. Dress is business casual, but “Survivor/Tropical” attire is certainly encouraged!
