Hunchback of Notre Dame

Actor’s Youth Theatre is thrilled to present the Arizona Premier of the Hunchback of Notre Dame. Based on the Victor Hugo novel and songs from the Disney animated feature, The Hunchback of Notre Dame showcases the film’s Academy Award-nominated score, as well as new songs by Menken and Schwartz. A sweeping score and powerful story make The Hunchback of Notre Dame an instant classic. Audiences will be swept away by the magic of this truly unforgettable musical.


All Shook Up JR.
Auditions: July 29 Show Dates: Sept 21-23, 28-30

Built around the songs made famous by Elvis Presley, All Shook Up tells the story of a small town girl with big dreams and the motorcycle-riding stud she falls for!


INSANITY: Four Murderous Tales of Edgar Allen Poe

A retelling of some of Edgar Allen Poe’s darkest works, INSANITY tells the stories of four seemingly normal, intelligent people…who become murderers. See their individual journeys as they slip into insanity and murderous rage. You’ll see how a black cat, an annoying friend, a portrait, and an eye can lead them to murder.

Annie, Jr.
Auditions: Sept 23 Show Dates: Nov 9-11, 16-18

Based on the popular comic strip and adapted from the Tony Award-winning Best Musical, Annie, Jr. features everyone’s favorite little redhead in her very first adventure.
With equal measures of pluck and positivity, little orphan Annie charms everyone's hearts despite a next-to-nothing start.

A Christmas Story, The Musical
Auditions: Oct 21 Show Dates: Dec 7-9, 14-16, 22-23

This musical, which received rave reviews on its Broadway run, is based on the movie classic that runs round-the-clock on television every Christmas. The delightfully versatile score ranges from gentle ballads to show-stopping full-ensemble numbers. A Christmas Story, The Musical brings an exciting new dimension to those who love the movie and will certainly stand on its own for those who haven't.


The Incredible Maggie Marshall

Auditions: Nov 18 Show Dates: Feb 1-3, 8-10

Maggie Marshall is a Medical Research Doctor that has discovered a potential treatment for mood disorders. When interviewed, adult Maggie reflects on her life as a young child who did not meet her dad until she was 10 years old. This coming of age story follows young Maggie as her life changes due to the relationship with her father and the discovery that she is actually a very bright girl. Adult Maggie conducts the medical trials for the drug she has found and discovers that there is much more to being Maggie Marshall than she ever knew.

Sincerely, Robyn Hood tells the story of one little girl who embarks on the mission of a lifetime - to rid the world of all bad things. When her English class gets an assignment to read Robin Hood, our young heroine is suddenly struck with the realization that what the world needs now, more than ever, is their very own Robin Hood. Armed with pencil and paper, and with the help of her 'merry friends,' she sets out to rid the world of all bad things, one letter at a time. One thing is for certain, Sherwood Elementary will never be the same again.

Ghost The Musical
Auditions: Jan 27 Show Dates: March 22-24, 29-31, April 5-7

Adapted from the hit film by its Academy Award-winning screenwriter, Bruce Joel Rubin, GHOST THE MUSICAL follows Sam and Molly, a young couple whose connection takes a shocking turn after Sam’s untimely death. Trapped between two worlds, Sam refuses to leave Molly when he learns she is in grave danger. Desperate to communicate with her, he turns to a storefront psychic, Oda Mae Brown, who helps him protect Molly and avenge his death.


Bugsy Malone, Jr.
Auditions: Feb 24 Show Dates: April 19-21, 26-28
Based on the hit 1976 film, and featuring a catchy, swinging score by the composer of The Muppet Movie, Bugsy Malone JR. is good, clean, comedic fun!

Monty Python’s Spamalot
Auditions: May 19 Show Dates: June 21-23, 28-30

Lovingly ripped off from the classic film comedy MONTY PYTHON AND THE HOLY GRAIL, SPAMALOT retells the legend of King Arthur and his Knights of the Round Table, and features a bevy of beautiful show girls, not to mention cows, killer rabbits, and French people. Did we mention the bevy of beautiful show girls? The 2005 Broadway production won three Tony Awards, including “Best Musical,” and received 14 Tony Award nominations.
