MCC PAC'S MUSICAL PRODUCTIONS is holding Auditions for Maltby & Shire's CLOSER THAN EVER!
Auditions will be Monday, December 12th from 4:30-7:00 with Callbacks on December 13th.
Directors will be Sue Anne Lucius and Cambrian James with Musical Direction by Cathy Hauan.
Prepare 32 bars of any musical theater selection that shows your singing and acting ability! You may sing from show. Accompanist will be provided.
Normally performed with four individuals, we will be expanding the roles and ensembles.
Rehearsals will begin Januarary 18th
Performances will be March 31, April 1 and April 6-8 2017.
Closer Than Ever features self-contained songs which deal with such diverse topics as security, aging, mid-life crisis, second marriages, working couples, and unrequited love. Maltby and Shire based many of the songs on real-life experiences of their friends, or stories told to them.The revue won the Outer Critics Circle Award for Best Off-Broadway Musical and Maltby, Shire, and Wintersteller all garnered Drama Desk Award nominations for their respective contributions.
