CHILDSPLAY is looking for KID REPORTERS!
|
DETAILS: Childsplay is looking for Kid Reporters for its 2015-2016 season! A Childsplay Kid Reporter will be invited to a Childsplay performance, where they will get an exclusive interview with cast members and will write an article that will be published for Childsplay patrons on our Kid Reporter blog! Each Kid Reporter will enjoy an "insider's" package at the theatre that includes:
|
DUTIES: The Kid Reporter will need to come to the show prepared with questions. These questions can be about the play, the performers, and anything else they want to know! Childsplay will help with these by providing some basic questions they can choose to use during the interview. (And we encourage mom, dad, grandma, grandpa, teachers or anyone else to help!) After the show, the Kid Reporter will go backstage for their exclusive interview with the cast. The Kid Reporter will have one week to submit his or her written article. The article will then be published along with photos on our Kid Reporter blog and marketed in an email blast and on our social media sites! (Parent or Guardian will be required to sign a photo waiver). Sometimes the articles are even picked up and published by local newspapers in the area! If your child is interested and is between the ages of 7-14, please email SJohnstone@childsplayaz.org with the following BY 10 A.M. on WEDNESDAY, JULY 15TH (Kids will be notified by 5 pm on Friday, July 17th):
We must receive all submissions by 10 a.m. on July 15th in order to be considered for the position! Childsplay will contact you by 5 p.m. on Friday, July 17. (An e-mail notification will be sent to everyone who submitted an application when the reporters are chosen).

Childsplay will only be choosing 3 Kid Reporters for the 2015-2016 season. Each reporter will be responsible for 2 articles (2 plays) this season. This program does not provide any transportation to or from the theatre. Childsplay is not responsible for any expenses incurred as a result of accepting the Kid Reporter position. |
