Michael Feinstein - Scottsdale Center for the Performing Arts - February 27, 2016

Sinatra Centennial Celebration

Called “The Ambassador of the Great American Songbook,” multi-platinum-selling, Emmy- and Grammy-nominated entertainer Michael Feinstein is one of the premier interpreters of popular songs and standards, including the music of George and Ira Gershwin, Irving Berlin, Jerome Kern, Johnny Mercer, Duke Ellington and Harry Warren. His 200-plus shows a year have included performances at Carnegie Hall, Sydney Opera House and the Hollywood Bowl, as well as the White House and Buckingham Palace.

Feinstein earned his fifth Grammy Award nomination in 2009 for his Concord Records CD The Sinatra Project. Accompanied by his band, Feinstein performs a selection of Sinatra’s classic hits in celebration of the legendary singer’s 100th birthday.

“Feinstein knows the stories behind these songs and offered rare first-person insights into members of Sinatra’s circle …” – Herald Sun
