SENSITIVE GUYS - Laughing Pig Theatre - June 21-29, 2019

by MJ Kaufman

A comedic yet stomach wrenching show set on a college campus about rape culture and gender roles.

The Men’s Peer Education group is a feather in the cap of the illustrious Watson College; a gathering of male students dissecting male privilege and how to overcome it. Their counterparts in the all-female Survivor Support Group encourage and support them as they try their best to be good guys, while trying to spread awareness themselves. But when an accusation comes out about one of the guys, both groups will have to face what they are willing to believe about themselves and those close to them, and decide if trying your best is the same as being your best. In this play women and gender non-conforming people play men trying to understand the intricacies of masculinity and violence.
