Bialystock and Bloom! Two names that should strike terror and hysteria in anyone familiar with The Producers! Mel Brooks’ stage adaptation of his own 1968 cult classic film won a record-setting 12 Tony Awards! The Producers takes no prisoners as it tells the story of a scheming down-on-his-luck Broadway producer, his mild-mannered accountant and their plot to produce the most notorious flop in history – making themselves millionaires in the process. Only thing they didn’t bargain for? Success! Get ready to laugh out loud at this “equal opportunity offender,” with songs like “The King of Old Broadway,” “When You’ve Got It, Flaunt It” and “Heil Myself.”

Based on the 1954 film starring Danny Kaye, Bing Crosby, Rosemary Clooney and Vera-Ellen, the musical spectacle follows World War II veterans Bob Wallace and Phil Davis and their pursuit of romance while en route to the ultimate wintery holiday in Vermont. THE KING AND I, Arizona Broadway Theatre, January 9 - February 15, 2015

This humorous look at life as an ambitious blonde is based on the novel and film of the same name starring Oscar winner Reese Witherspoon.
