Audition will consist of cold reading and group interaction (theater games.) Please bring a headshot (or photo) and resume if you have one. Also bring your calendar for conflicts.
Ric Alpers will direct the madcap comedy, “Play On!”
Performances will be 7 pm on Fridays, 2 pm and 7 pm on Saturdays, 2 pm on Sundays, October 16 - 25, 2015.
Play On! is a hilarious farce comedy with lots of opportunity for unique character development. It's the story of a theater group trying desperately to put on a play in spite of maddening interference from a haughty author who keeps revising the script. Act I is a rehearsal of the dreadful show, Act II is the near disastrous dress rehearsal, and the final act is the actual performance in which anything that can go wrong does. Even the sound effects reap their share of laughter!
