audition notice - A FEW GOOD MEN - Zao Theatre - August 8

Zao Theatre is holding auditions for the play A Few Good Men.

A Few Good Men was written by Aaron Sorkin, first produced on Broadway in 1989, and tells the story of military lawyers at a court-martial who uncover a high-level conspiracy in the course of defending their clients, two US Marines accused of murder.

Zao Theatre's A Few Good Men will be directed by Diane Nieman Senffner.

Auditions are by appointment and will be held on Monday night, August 8th, 2016, from 6:00 PM until 9:00 PM.

Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.

Call-backs are scheduled for Tuesday, August 9th, at 6:30 PM.

Auditions will be held at the Zao Theatre at Centerstage Church, 550 S. Ironwood Dr., Apache Junction, AZ 85120.  (Broadway and Ironwood)

The production dates are Friday, February 24th, 2017 - Saturday, March 11th, 2017.  Shows run on Friday nights at 7:30 PM, and Saturdays at 2:00 PM and 7:30 PM.

THE SHOW IS BEING CAST RATHER EARLY BECAUSE OF THE LARGE NUMBER OF MEN NECESSARY.

We are casting ALL ethnicities and will consider the casting of females in some traditionally male roles in the show (see below).  Actors auditioning for young Marine roles should be in reasonably good shape and will need to cut hair in a crew cut style by tech week of the production.

Auditions will consist of cold readings from the script.

The following roles have been cast:  Daniel Kaffee, Nathan Jessep, Judge Randolph
