We Ain't Ever Gonna Break Up: The Hymon & Parfunkel Musical is a hilarious and heartfelt exploration of two folk-rock musicians parodying the familiar tropes of jukebox musicals. Saul Hymon and Bart Parfunkel bring their quirky journey to superstardom to life, playing themselves and a cast of bizarre characters they meet along the way. With a mix of parody and original songs, this musical farce celebrates the unpredictable twists of their career and the enduring power of their friendship—if they can manage not to break up. Following a successful staged reading at The Phoenix Theatre Company’s 2024 Festival of New American Theatre, this original two-man production—both written and performed by Gregg Hammer and Louis Pardo—is set to make its World Premiere. |
