After three successful seasons performing on the Herberger Theater Center’s Kax Stage, Order Chaos Theater Company (OCTC) is proud to announce its official designation as a Resident Company at the Herberger Theater Center.
Founded in 2022 by brothers Mark and JP Clemente and a close collaborator, OCTC has quickly established itself as a vital voice in the Valley’s theater community. The company is known for raw, actor-driven productions that explore vulnerability, truth, and humor through intimate storytelling and community-minded values.
“Our partnership with the Herberger has helped shape our identity,” said Executive Director Mark Clemente. “This residency is a meaningful milestone—recognizing the impact of our artists, supporters, and audiences.”
OCTC’s first three seasons featured emotionally rich productions such as:
● The Gin Game – a sharp, intimate portrait of aging and connection
● Children of a Lesser God – a powerful story of love and communication across cultures
● ’night, Mother – a harrowing look at mental health and family bonds
Beyond the stage, OCTC actively collaborates with local nonprofits to share resources, support artists, and increase accessibility. The company is especially proud of its ASL Impact Program, which provides American Sign Language-interpreted performances and promotes inclusion for the Deaf and hard-of-hearing community.
“As we grow, accessibility and collaboration remain central to our mission,” said Artistic Director JP Clemente. “Theater should reflect the full range of human experience—who’s in the story, who tells it, and who gets to witness it.”
OCTC is grateful to Mark Mettes, President & CEO of the Herberger Theater Center, and the entire Herberger staff, whose support and belief in OCTC’s vision have been instrumental since day one.
OCTC’s 2025–2026 season as a resident company includes:
● Kimberly Akimbo by David Lindsay-Abaire
● Claus & Effect 2025 (original OCTC production)
● Jane Anger by Talene Monahon
● A Moon for the Misbegotten by Eugene O’Neill
