Sound Designer needed for LEGALLY BLONDE at Mesa Encore Theatre

Mesa Encore Theatre Seeks Passionate Sound Designer/Operator for Upcoming production of Legally Blonde: The Musical.

Pay
750 flat fee

Candidates need not have extensive experience but should be familiar with using a digital sound board (Behringer X32) and mixing a live band with wireless microphones.
Students welcome.

Performances take place at the Nesbitt/Elliott Playhouse at the Mesa Arts Center.
The Sound Designer is responsible for the following tasks:
-Setting up sound equipment at production load in.
-Ringing the room at load in.
-Properly micing the live band (8 pieces)
-Setting frequencies for 21 wireless body microphones.
-Mixing and programming scenes.
-Setting at least three monitor mixes for cast and band.
-Operating sound board at all performances.
-Two sound Qs to be played back during performance.
-Maintaining equipment throughout run (e.g. changing batteries, sweat protectors)
-Breaking down equipment at strike.
