The artistic team of Ragtime at Musicfest is seeking a dedicated and diverse cast of multitalented actors and singers to bring this emotionally resonant musical portrait of American humanity to life. This production will be an enhanced, semi-staged concert version with a full orchestra on stage, allowing participation by AEA performers without standard union stipulations.
While Arizona Musicfest will bring in Broadway notables for the principal roles, all supporting, ensemble, and principal understudy roles will be cast locally.
Rehearsals will take place from April 6 – 18, 2026 with final rehearsals at the Herberger Theater Center the week of April 20. Performances will be April 24-26.
Musicfest is accepting audition materials through September 13, 2025.

General Information:
-All ADULT supporting, ensemble roles are paid – $1200 minimum.
-Principal understudy roles would get an additional stipend – TBD
-YOUTH performer stipends are TBD.
-All initial auditions will be done via video submission.
